Privacy Policy
Effective from 18 September 2026.
This page describes the data that MyMarketing processes, why, and for how long. MyMarketing is an internal tool for planning and publishing marketing content, used by authorised accounts of the companies that operate it.
What data is processed
- User accounts: name, email address and password (stored only as a hash). They are used to sign in and to receive notices by email.
- Social network connections: when an administrator connects a company's account to a network (for example TikTok, through Login Kit), the application stores the access tokens that network issues, encrypted, together with the account's identifier (open_id) and public display name. Those tokens are used only to publish the content that company planned on that network and to read the status of those posts.
- Content: the texts, images and videos produced or uploaded in the application, and their publication dates.
- Catalogue data: products read from the companies' online shops (name, reference, price, images) in order to advertise them.
- Demo requests: the name, company, email, shop address and message sent through the “Request a demo” form on the home page. They are used only to reply and to book the demo, and are deleted on request. A request closed for more than 12 months is anonymised: the name, company, email, address, message and note are removed; the date, language, source and status are kept.
- Technical records: the cost of the artificial intelligence services used and operating logs, with no personal content beyond the identifier of the account that caused them. The record of actions on personal data (who searched, downloaded or deleted, with the person reduced to a short hash) keeps each entry for 2 years.
What it is used for
Only to run the application: planning, producing, approving and publishing content on the companies' social networks, and notifying the people involved. It is not sold, shared or used for third-party advertising.
Social networks and third-party services
When publishing, the application sends the content to the chosen network (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn), directly or through a scheduling service. What happens to that content after it is published is governed by each network's policies. Data read from the networks (for example, the reach of a post) is used only for internal dashboards.
A connection to a network can be revoked at any time in the application itself (the company page, “Disconnect”) or in the network's security settings; the tokens are then deleted.
Retention
Data is kept while the account or the company exists in the application. Daily backups are kept by the operator of the application for 14 days: data that is deleted or anonymised is still in the backups made before that until they leave the retention period.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of the data that concerns you by writing to ricardotorres@ricardotorres.com.pt. An administrator can delete accounts and network connections from within the application.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
